Jessica Simpson has put her singing career on hold in order to focus on her new reality-TV show “The Price of Beauty,” and despite the fact that ratings are not very encouraging, the singer hopes VH1 will allow for a second season.
“Right now, I'm promoting this (show), and hopefully we'll be doing a season two and hopefully just travel more,” she tells MTV News (via Contact Music).
However, whether or not she will get the green light for a second season to her show, Simpson has some other projects in mind, although she doesn’t offer too many details about them.
“I'm putting my hands in different things, trying to executive-produce some show ideas. I think people will be very shocked to see what might happen in my life next,” she says.
“The Price of Beauty” takes Jessica, her stylist Ken Paves, and her friend Casey Cobb around the world to document different cultures’ concept of beauty. The show was inspired by the criticism the actress/singer got from the media and the public back when she put on some weight and the famous mom-jeans photo came out. (Photo via The Daily Beauty Break)
