James Franco had his agent fish for a part in the final chapter of The Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn, in order to help put together a theatrical production of the vampire story. The actor wanted any kind of role because he plays a character in the art show and thought it would be a great connection to have been part of the original films too.

“It was supposed to be part of a multimedia project at Yale (university),” the actor recently explained. “I was working with a Yale undergraduate who had written an autobiographical play about putting on a theatrical production of Twilight, in which I was a character.  So I was interested in Twilight because I was going to be part of that play. I thought what a great connection it would be if I were also involved with the real Twilight.”

Sadly there were no more available parts in Breaking Dawn by the time Franco’s agent contacted the movie execs. Looks like he’s gonna have to make do with just watching the films. (Photo via Sodahead)
