Lindsay Lohan Sues E-Trade for $100 Million over Super Bowl Ad

b_0_75_16777215_00_images_lindsay-lohan-4.jpgDuring this year’s Super Bowl E-Trade debuted a commercial where a baby girl calls another baby girl “that milkaholic Lindsay.” The world’s most famous Lindsay, namely Lohan, took it very personal and is asking for $100 million to get over it.

“Many celebrities are known by one name only, and E-Trade is using that knowledge to profit,” Lohan’s lawyer Stephanie Ovadia said, according to the New York Post. She basically means that much like Madonna, or Oprah, or Cher, whenever we hear the name Lindsay we instinctively think of Lohan.

“They're using her name as a parody of her life. Why didn't they use the name Susan? This is a subliminal message. Everybody's talking about it and saying it's Lindsay Lohan,” Ovadia added. The explanation, though unheard by the Lohan camp, comes from Chris Brown, a spokesman for Grey Group, which produced the spot: “[We] just used a popular baby name that happened to be the name of someone on the account team.”

According to Ovadia, since hundreds of millions of people saw the commercial, E-Trade owes Lindsay, the one and only according to her, $50 million in exemplary damages and another $50 million in compensatory damages.

We’ll see what comes out of this since the company could not be reached for comment. Below’s the spot. (Photo via Daily Lohan)
