'True Blood' Star Stephen Moyer Talks Onscreen Chemistry with Fiancée Anna Paquin

Stephen Moyer and fiancée Anna Paquin, who play lovebirds in HBO’s hit TV series True Blood, have never been shy when it comes to shooting love scenes on the show, even if there’s a lot of nakedness involved, and the actor says it’s precisely their real-life romance that builds their chemistry onscreen.
“Everybody on set now gets to see what goes on behind closed doors,” Moyer reveals. “We leave nothing to the imagination! [Laughs] But our love scenes actually work really well. Since the crew knows we do have chemistry and are together in real life, I feel like it takes away from the nerve-racking tension that can occur when people have to watch two actors who are just getting to know each other engage in an intimate scene.”
The two met on the set of True Blood and have been dating pretty much ever since it started. Surprisingly, they never made a secret out of the fact that they were seeing each other.
